HUFA app privacy policy.

HUFA connects people who need something done with Hufers who do it in person. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: info@hufa.in.

What we collect

• Your name, email, phone number, age band and gender.
• Your location and addresses, so we can match jobs nearby.
• Job details, chats, photos you add, ratings and payment records.
• For Hufers: skills and preferences, and a government ID photo for verification.

How we use it

To run your account, match requesters with Hufers, keep jobs safe, verify Hufers and send you job notifications. We do not sell your data, show ads or track you across other apps.

Who sees it

The other person on a job sees your name and rating. Once a job is accepted they also see your phone number and the job address. We use trusted providers to run the app (Supabase, Resend, Expo, Ola Maps), and they handle data only on our behalf. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your data stays while your account exists. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and ID. Job and payment records stay, without your name.

Your choices

Delete your account any time in Settings. Edit your profile there too. You can turn off location, photos and notifications in your phone settings.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and ID photos are stored privately.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app.
